If the lateral incisors of your child have not yet emerged after 10 months, rest assured that they will be visible at 16 months. These will be followed by the first molars at 14 to 18 months and by the canines at 17 to 23 months. Your child’s deciduous teeth, also known as temporary teeth, primary teeth, milk teeth and baby teeth are very important to take care. Temporary teeth are the main foundation excellent permanent teeth. If “tooth lost” of these temporary occur at earlier time, there will be no more guide for the eruption of permanent teeth that will lead to “acute-angled corner” or abnormal tooth growth.
