Safety Tips for Your Child

Keep your child away from the following objects:

  1. Sharp items like as knives, blades, cutter blades, construction tools, etc.
  2. Electrical outlets, your child at his instinct and curiosity may insert his fingers or metallic object like spoon into them. This may result in electrocution.
  3. Matches or lighters, anything that produces fire, this may burn him or burn you house.
  4. Medicines, always keep these out of reach of your child to prevent swallowing that may lead to choking or overdose.
  5. Poisonous chemicals, these are combustible and may harmful to the skin, eyes, lungs or may poison your child.
  6. Plastic bags or containers, he may get suffocated if he will be exposed to these materials.
  7. Hot water, this could cause burns or blisters.
  8. Appliances, these may be dangerous if your baby holds them, others like electric fan may cut his fingers.
  9. Exercise equipment like dumbbells, stationary bike, and thread mills may hurt your child or even lead him to death.
  10. Stairways, if you have stairs at home, do not let him come near them, or make a small fence that will prevent him from getting there.
